The food is excellent, best omelette in town. Great variety and prices are reasonable. The owner and staff are helpful and friendly. If your staying in the area it's a great place to grab breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Brad M. is a hater. OMG there were kids at the diner!!! Get over yourself, Bradley. This place is great. The staff is friendly, the service is quick and the food tastes great. The menu is substantial, and there is tons of variety. Definitely give this place a shot if you're staying at one of the hotels nearby. It's well worth the walk. I'll give it 5 stars, just to counter Brad's crabby ass review.

A great diner. The waitresses try their best to be friendly and quick, the menu has some great choices on it, and the food comes to your table hot and tasty. Most of the time when I'm on trips we eat at more formal restaurants, however this was a crossed from my hotel and I thought I would give it a try, I wasn't disappointed. This is a great diner for a casual dining experience and great food.

Alberts is the nicest best coney I've been to in a while! The prices are reasonable, and the new owner goes out of his way to see that you like your food and the overall hospitality of the staff makes u feel like you are hanging out with people that have always been your friend! I go there daily now for lunch and I see many of the same faces so I think others agree I got out for lunch under 10$ and that incl a decent tip! Its a hop and a skip from the Chrysler bldg and you can get right in and out...excellent I had the Stir Fry with Chkn (although u can have beef, shrimp or All three!) and was pleasantly surprised to see that the owner only buys FRESH stir fry veggies... that and the prices have sold me its my favorite place by far! You need to try it!

It is what it is... nothing exciting, or worth really stopping your car for. Certainly wouldn't go out of my way for this one. However, there is a wide variety of food, the coneys are decent, and it's within walking distance of several hotels. However, every time I was in there (3x so far), small children were running around the restaurant, up and down the aisles. Clearly related to the cook and/or waitress. They just look at you like it's your fault for being upset that children have made the restaurant their playground. This is Michigan... there's a coney place every 2nd stop sign... ne need to stop at this one, because there's nothing special. 2 STARS for quick and cheap food

During our recent trip to Michigan, we had the good fortune to be staying in a hotel across the street from Alberts Coney Grill. Don't let the prices fool you. The food was uniformly excellent -- far better than one might reasonably expect from a diner. Fresh ingredients, well prepared and served by a friendly, professional staff. Every one of our four visits was a real pleasure, and my wife and I found ourselves wishing we could transport the whole establishment back home with us.
